AOTEAROA FARE Aotearoa fare is a concept using the internet to promote the best of regional New Zealand. The first province to be developed  is Canterbury Fare...the place to try a cyber sample of New Zealand's premier produce.


Canterburyfare  was developed as a brand to promote Canterbury.  It was successful in demonstrating the need for a fresh produce market for the region and as brand to promote the regions food and wine: "A Taste of Canterbury".   The concept was further developed, not only to promote  wines, beverages and food but also art, performance, music and experience.  A prototype "Real Place" was developed and operated in New Regent Street in Christuchurch or three years.  Unfortunately this venture was not successful in attracting local and regional interest and closed in October 2004. 
The idea is sound and the brand is still available for licence.
